Wind, Dust, Haze, Stench…August Weather Arrives In Early July

Strong morning winds and poor air quality are dominating the desert to start the week, but a dust advisory has now expired.

Still desert residents might be wondering why their nice dry heat and sunshine are buried under haze, overcast, and stinky air.

It’s the increased moisture in the air, which  has dropped a bit of rain on mountain towns, but the desert has not seen any rain yet, just a 20% chance of rain through Thursday July 12th.
