Jade Carey Wins Floor Exercise Gold For Team USA

The U.S. women’s gymnastics team continues to make a strong showing in Tokyo, even without Simone Biles.
On Monday, 21-year-old Jade Carey won another gold medal for Team USA, taking first place in the individual floor exercise final.
Carey edged out Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari by less than 2/10ths of a point with a score of 14.366. Japan’s Mai Murakami and ROC’s Angelina Melnikova tied for the bronze medal.
It’s the second gold medal for the women’s team, after Sunisa Lee’s big win in the indivdual all-around last week.
Carey told NBC’s Today show that the win is “all I have ever dreamed off, all I ever worked for”.
Have you been impressed with Team USA in the gymnastics events? What do you expect from Biles when she returns this week?
